Qualifications:
Graduate of a 4-year College or University and a minimum of 5 years experience in Community Access Television management.
Strong background in computers and emerging technologies
Proficiency in all aspects of television production, editing and programming
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact positively with public officials, the community, and
manage staff of 3
Duties:
Responsible for the overall administration and all aspects of the daily operations of DCAT’s PEG Access Studio
Enforce and amend as needed the policies for the proper use of DCAT channels, facility and equipment
Provide leadership in promoting DCAT to the public and expanding its potential as a community resource
Report regularly to the Board of Directors
Responsibilities:
Manage access center funds and assets based on annual budget approved by Board of Directors, assuring cost-effective operations
Develop and manage office procedures, maintain personnel records, membership data, accounting records and any other records necessary to the corporation
Develop and implement an outreach program designed to inform the public and community institutions about DCAT and its programs and services
Seek out alternative sources of funding (grants, fundraising opportunities, underwriting, and etc.)
Oversee technical training of staff and facility users
Prepare regular financial and operations reports for the Board of Directors
Work with the Board of Directors to create long-term business and operations plans, budgets, and any other projects or assignments designed by the boardCompensation:
